Due to the customized nature of our tours, we can only provide general information about pricing of complete tour packages; that is, holiday bookings with us that include lodging and meal reservations, airport transfers, cell phone rental, cooking lessons, wine-tasting, etc, in addition to day or half-day tours.

First and foremost, if you have a budget, we can plan your tour within it, keeping your needs in mind. For example, tourists accustomed to high levels of personal service will want to stay in hotels we recommend. Budgeting travelers who want more guiding for their money and less spent on accommodation, might consider a farm stay (agriturismo,) or week-long rental, rather than a hotel. Some travelers will include all meal costs in their package with us. Others will choose to have a few special dinners included and to prepare or eat most lunches on their own.

If your budget allows, Roberto can guide you every day, and even splurge on hotel stays for longer side trips, such as Elba or the Maremma. If not, we can plan a satisfying series of day or half-day tours combined with free days to explore other areas on your own -- and we'll help you with train tickets, directions, and/or planning.

The main considerations regarding price will be length of stay, season, type of lodgings desired, excursions, and meals desired. A two week tour of Tuscany for ten or more people could be ball-parked at $2500 per person, double occupancy, no air conditioning. We will happily provide an estimate for your group and the type of tour desired.

Full-Daytrip (from 6-8 hrs) Prices

Increasingly we're finding that independent travelers, individuals as well as couples, are wishing to join others for day-long countryside excursions. Therefore we've recently simplified our prices. The tours are in an air-conditioned minibus which holds a total of 8 passengers, and the cost per person is based on the final group size, should others wish to join.

Our prices refer to people 12 years old and over (under 12's don't pay), though we attempt to offer family discounts for those brave souls among you bringing over the whole brood. Prices are quoted in Euro and exclude meal costs and admission charges.

Exclusive day-long countryside tours are also available although we encourage you to try a joinable-tour, as the friendly banter between the small number of participants almost always increases the enjoyment of all present. If you are interested in an exclusive tour, please contact us for prices.

Half-day walking tours, usually three hours in the morning or the afternoon, are available in the cities of Siena, Florence, Rome and Venice. Each tour is led by one of our preferred and very popular, qualified city guides. Museum visits and longer tours can be arranged upon request with advance notice, for an additional fee.

Our prices for the city guides refer to people 12 years old and over (under 12's don't pay.) The cost per person is based on the final group size, should others join. A 50% non refundable deposit is required to be paid on booking. Ask about possible family discounts if your group is four or more people in and of itself.

Exclusive city tours are also available although we encourage you to try a joinable-tour, as the friendly banter between the small number of participants almost always increases the enjoyment of all present. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to be paid on booking an exclusive, NON-JOINABLE, city tour. Exclusive tours of Siena, Florence and Rome cost 65 euros per hour for a minimum of 3 hours. Venice exclusive tours cost 73 euros per hour for a minimum 2-hour tour.

We are happy to assist travelers who have booked with us (and even some who have not) with all sorts of travel needs: From finding a hotel in Venice or a B&B in Rome, to booking seats for the Palio, finding out which train to Paris is the most panoramic, buying a bouquet for a wedding, or arranging an airport transfer from Rome to Siena, and so on.

Prices for these services vary according to the amount of time we must spend on the task, and the amount of time you are spending with us. The fee for consultation and reservation services is included in all package tour costs. The fee for these services provided to independent travelers is a modest €35 per hour plus expenses with a minimum of one hour. There is no charge if we are unable to find or book the service you require.

We collect 50% of the tour cost as a security deposit that is not normally refundable so, please, please take out travel insurance as soon as you book. Our expenses increase when a tour is cancelled, from phoning guides to re-contacting waiting-list clients, in addition to the evident loss of the tour and other bookings possibly turned away. That said, in limited cases we will consider a partial refund of the security deposit, after deducting administrative expenses, if the tour is cancelled over 30 days from the scheduled tour date.
